Trustname.com is a newly launched domain registrar with a one-of-a-kind offering. The platform offers a signature two-tier domain privacy that includes a third-party domain registration service, allowing domain owners to enjoy true anonymity and never have their personal information published in the public WHOIS database.
What’s more? Trustname’s two-tier privacy creates a tri-layer legal shield to a domain’s contact information – before anyone can get the information tied to a domain name on Trustname.com, they’d have to produce three court orders from the U.S., St. Kitts and Nevis, and Estonia, simultaneously!
Project Details
I was hired by Trustname.com to build out its knowledge base, documenting every single feature on the platform with clear photos. I also created customer onboarding emails and email templates for messages sent to customers at every stage of Trustname.com’s funnel.
I went to work and created articles on SSL certificates and then went on to humanize several articles the brand had originally created with AI. Next, I built email templates that will be sent to customers for different events – e.g. ‘Successful domain transfer’, ‘Pending payment completion’, ‘Domain expiring soon’, ‘Placeholders’, etc.
Next, I built out dozens of blog post series and knowledge base articles each for SSL certificates, domain transfers on Trustname, registering domains on Trustname, domain ownership and security, domain management, advanced domain features (DNS), premium domains, and domain compliance (legal). In all, I created over 200 knowledge base articles and blog posts for the brand.
The Results
Trustname.com now has a comprehensive knowledge base that customers can consult for answers to most domain management related issues. As a chatbot is also being developed, the content I created will serve as the information repository to train the bot to give the best support to customers!
